Urbanity
Today's project 4 is very fresh and interesting for me, that we have to survey Penang Times Square and surroundings, space, form, node and path. This assignment is required 6 people in a group, then my group member are Loh Yong Mei, Chang Shing Iee, Tan Syntze, Teoh May Ling and Yew Yuh Hui.
On the same day, all of us are very excited and anxious going to Penang Times Square for the survey. After gathering, we all start our journey for explore the Pinang Times Square, and lead by a Penangites- May ling. We reach our destination around 4.30 pm.
This is our destination : PENANG TIMES SQUARE
From the photo, can seen that Penang Times Square is really a suitable "space" for us to countdown. After survey the Penang Times Square, my brain pop out many ideas and thinking on the event.
After collect the information and photo we needed, on the next day, we have our group discussion at Fajar Harapan Cafe. In this discussion, We had plan and design a lot of event and schedule that will carry out in this countdown event. For instance, how we open the ceremony, how we install the BST, masks and black bamboo boxes into this countdown event, timing and so on.
Then, on 16August2010 (Monday), we have a presentation on the event that they design.
However, due to the time, our group don't have the chance to present our project4: urbanity. On 20August2010(Friday), we have pass up our presentation in report form. I am so satisfy on this report, because it is my thought of countdown event that I been thinking for a long time.
