YOUTH JOM 10 - SUPER MERDEKA CELEBRATION

30 AUGUST 2010 (MONDAY)
PLACE : PENANG TIMES SQUARE
ACTORS : ALL HBP STUDENTS AND LECTURES
EVENT : SUPER MERDEKA CELEBRATION

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!!!!! WAHAHAHA!!!

Today morning, we have a rehearsal in our RUS101 class.

On 4.30pm, our group-MC (Melayu & Cina) gather in front of E48B, prepare take the bus to Penang Times Square. When we reached, we seen no one around there. We still wonder is it we gather too early, or gather at wrong place?

On 5.30pm, we smelt a rat.. We called the other groups. They told us they reached there already!!! We look glum..

Faris still crying..

Tunku said : without me, how could they open ceremony?

We still bring the 6BBBB, MASK and BST along.. so heavy

oh oh.. how now?

After discussion, we decided. We must have the spirit of Tunku Abdul Rahaman! Although we miss the bus, but we still have alternative ways. Just like Tunku also not achieve his purpose in single days. So, we decided take the rapid..

And... We on bus lo!!!!

We finally reached PENANG TIMES SQUARE!!!!

We go search the thread and ballon, for tied up our black box.

After this, when they "buka puasa", we enjoyed our dinner at nearby hawker centre as well. Then see still got a lot of time, we went to Prangin Mall. At Prangin Mall there also has countdown events, but in types of jogging if not mistaken. And we took the free flags from them. MERDEKA!

Around 10pm, we back to Penang Times Square, met with our team groups.

Around 11.15pm, our group's "guys" start to make up..

Safwan, Faris & Hariz start spray their body, to get rid the body odour..

Around 11.50pm, everyone start gather and done own part role, with the balloon, 6BBBB and mask.

The balloon are released!! So beautiful!!

RE-DO 6BBB

26 AUGUST 2010 (THURSDAY)
a re-do for 6BBB

1) I stick 3 bamboo satay sticks up into one as the holder of 6BBB.

2) I join three "holder" into one "frame".

3) I stick the frame together.

4) Join the frame, become a framework of my 6BBB

5) I colour, design and write down my wishes on tracing paper

6) Then paste this long long tracing paper onto my framework. It's done!

P/S: it's really light, once the wind flow in, it will "shake" and seem like almost fly away. Hope my 6BBB can success fly to sky, carry my wishes to the country and also my blessings.

5A : MERDEKA COUNTDOWN IDEA

Project 5A : Merdeka Countdown Idea

Today, Encik WanB is giving a another assignment which related with merdeka event. First, he ask us form a group in 10people, with the team name, motto, and production theme.

Here's our details:
Team Name : MC (because we only got Malays and Chinese)
Motto : Together we stand, divided we fall
Production Theme : Natural Unity

The requirements of this project 5A is a 3 minutes theaterete which is required the present and use of sarung, masks, bamboo sound tools and black bamboo box.

So, in the afternoon, around 3pm, we gather at DUP, having a group discussion and rehearsal of our theater. Below is some picture when we rehearsal and discussion.
